Live Edge National Park Patch Display - SOLD

$425.00

This piece was built for my wife to display our collection of National Park patches that we have collected from the various parks we’ve visited over the years. Originally, our patches were sewn onto a backpack that was unfortunately stolen from our vehicle. Like many, these patches remind us of fond memories of our travels. As a surprise for her birthday, I designed this live edge board from black walnut and ash, with a maple backboard, and ordered replacement patches for the ones that were missing. The photo is from a canoeing trip in Canada, and is printed directly on aluminum. My friend, Tom Dolese at Terra Firma Designs helped navigate this project with me.
